If nothing else, CenturyLink Field is loud. Extremely loud. Earth-shaking loud.
Now, it looks like a group of Seahawks fans want to make it official. A group called Volume 12, has petitioned the Guinness Book of World Records to set the record for “loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium.”
Guinness has accepted the application and has sent Volume 12 the materials to provide evidence that they have set the record. So, when will this all go down?

By the way, what’s the record? That would be the Turk Telecom Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. The stadium reached a noise level of 131.76 during a soccer match between Galatasaray SC and Fenerbahce SC.
